When one group attempts to exploit the other, it might also be reacted by the exploited object.
This project is to reveal the mutual force reflected in power struggle of the human society.

The teeth bishop is inspired by the form and function of teeth — sharp, pointed, and weapon-like. It is like a power entity formed by the convergence of regular teeth, indicating humans grouping together to gain a greater power and the individual is overshadowed by the force of group.
Tusk Pawn

The leg queen is designed as a leg-shaped vase, holding stretching branches. The shape is intentionally added femininity while the size is relatively huge, mirroring women are treated as sex objects by parts of men yet own unique way of getting resource through sexual relations.
The attack way of the scaling ladder is to ascend and cross the barrier, referring to promotion bringing more resources in reality. The meat hung on the ladder could be seen as spoils.
Besides the single chesses as meaning carriers, relations established between different chesses, as well as chesses and the field cooperatively complete the narrative. The compared size and the position indicate the power grabbed by the chess, just as the raw tusks are relatively small compared with the large tooth-shaped sculpture but the huge one loses its original appearance through the coverage of the force. When connecting chesses together, the symbol of each interweaves into new meaning.
The installation takes the form of a chessboard, with each piece representing a social class, both being exploited and exploiting others.
They possess the power of attacking others and seizing resources while their belongings including ability, appearance, and labor are also regarded as resources to others.

The tusk pawn is a group of hanging boar tusks, building connections with raw meat symbolizing social resources. The size and power of the tusks is limited but they rely on the pole as external force to win the superiority of position, just as single individual borrows the power of class.
